Well we made it back from the honeymoon safe and sound. We got to extend our trip home on Sunday to Key Largo while waiting for our 6pm flight. It was pretty neat to sit at the restaurant and stick our heads out the windows and feel the warm breeze and take more pictures. All in all we took over 1000 pictures.
But of course, the wedding pictures need to come first. We have access to them online.

We got over 1400 pictures taken and they are fantastic. They are extremely helpful in reminding me what happened that day. The saddest this for me is that my wedding day is the one day in my life when I had nothing to drink and still don't remember anything. I remember bits and pieces, but I really need to pictures to jog my memory with the details.
Well enjoy and hopefully I'll get the honeymoon pictures up soon.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Changes
I got married this weekend. We're settling in to the newness of it all. Russell likes calling me "Wife" and telling everyone that he got married this weekend. It makes me smile. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures soon. I'll be stealing them from other people since I haven't gotten the professional ones yet.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Peace out.

Anti-pasto salad yumminess
Today for lunch I mad Anti-pasto salad. My mom would always make this during the summer months and when you came in for dinner and saw this pasta salad on the table you knew summer was here. Since I enjoy it so much (and have a few converts to it, too!) I'll share it with you all:
Anti-Pasto Salad (as passed down by V. K)
1 lb medium shells
1/4 lb salami sliced 1/4in thick from deli
1/2 lb pepperoni sliced 1/4in thick from deli
1/2 lb provolone cheese sliced 1/4in thick from deli
2 green peppers
3 stems celery
3-4 tomatoes or 1 package cherry/ grape tomatoes
1 can large black olives
a little bit of diced red onion, less than 1/4 cup
Cook the pasta according to the box.
Cut everything else into bite sized pieces
Mix together:
1 tsp Salt
1 TBS oregano (dried)
1 tsp Pepper
3/4 cup red wine vinegar ( you can mix white wine vinegar with it too)
3/4 olive oil
Mix this all together in the pasta pot or the biggest bowl you have. You can eat it right away, at room temp or after refridgeration.
Enjoy!

Waiting
The waiting game is so hard. Got news that G has a c-section scheduled for Wednesday. We're hoping natural labor happens before then. If not, we're garunteed a baby next week!!!! But waiting still is tough. Oh well. Happy Wednesday.

The Bachelor party
Russel is planning his bachelor party. I know he is not supposed to but he is. He wants to go somewhere far far away and party. Get drunk, dance with random girls and just hang with his friends. His friends on the other hand want him to get drunk and hit on random girls and do stupid crazy things that will get him in trouble "if I know about them, but I won't because they won't tell me." But I will know. Because Russell will tell me. Either way this party goes down, I'm not looking forward to it. First, I don't understand why he needs to go 1000 miles away for a party when there are places close by here that will be just fine for him and his friends to go to and get a hotel room for a night or two. Second, I don't understand why it needs to be for a week. The bachelor party was supposed to be a few nights before the wedding where the best man took the groom out for dinner and a few drinks to celebrate him being "single" for only a few more nights. Why does he need to party for a week? I know what Russell does when he drinks for a week. He does things that aren't smart. And he may tell me that he won't drink anymore after the first two nights, but with these friends, he can't stay sober. They won't let him. Someone told me to "ease up because he has to listen to me for the rest of his life and just let him have some fun." I don't think I'm being too "tight fisted?" with him. I'm concerned for the whole thing. He is going to be so far away I can't be there, he's going to be with friends who will over-rule any objections he has to activities, and he will be drinking. A lot.
I'm sorry for this really long rant. I've really worried.
I hope everyone is enjoying the Spring weather.

Rainy day
Ahhhhh! I love rainy days when I am home. I just got off work and have the chance to snuggle in my bed while its still dark and dreary... and rainy outside. It makes me want to snuggle. So does this guy:
He is playing in a tunnel made out of the futon mattress. He had a blast. Too cute!

A wedding update.
R and I are supposed to meet with the priest today who is going to be doing our wedding. It got me thinking about what I have finished so far for this wedding.
1: My dress and shoes are purchases - and actually here too!
2: We have a reception hall and Church - these are probably the most important things and should be #1, but my dress gets that honor.
3: We have a photographer
4: We have a DJ
5: R's parents have booked the resturant for the rehersal dinner
6: We will be booking our caterer next week
7: We have our honeymoon booked - an 8 day cruise to the Caribbean.
Now all I have left it decorations. Somehow this is the bane of my life right now. I can't pick what flowers I want. Not even for the bouquets and all. I'm getting married in Nov and right now all the spring flowers are all that's being offered. Ha. Imagine that! Oh well. I'll keep looking at pictures in bridal magazines and online to figure out what I want. The nice thing is... R has an opinion on the flowers. He gave me an honest answer and gave me some great ideas when we were talking about it. =)

My Disney Adventure: Day Three
How appropriate that as I type this, a Disney commercial is playing on TV. Here is day three. We spent it at Animal Kingdom and later ate dinner at Tony's in Magic Kingdom.
Animal Kingdom!
Mount Everest. It is the highest point in the park. As it should be.
