We made it to 20 weeks on Wednesday.
Last week, we had our anatomy scan. Everything looked great. She had all her arms and legs, fingers and toes. The coolest picture that the sono tech took, but we didn't get a copy of, was her spine. Being able to see every individual bone in her spine was awesome.
Here she is. Sorry about the reflection in the photo.
R is quite excited to be having a daughter. I have no idea what he plans to do with her once she's here, but he lets everyone know that he can't wait to hold her.
At 20 weeks: she measured about 10 oz. Her due date was estimated at Jan 28th, one day before the due date from my doctor. Her heartbeat was averaging 151, which matched the one the doctor got at our appointment the day before. She was moving her arms around and kept her legs tightly crossed at the knees. I have a proper little lady already.
I've been feeling her move since week 17. Right now it feels like marbles bouncing around deep inside. She likes to tap dance near my bladder though not directly on top of it yet.
The whole family is quite excited about the little girl. My mother-in-law has already gotten us some cute pink hairbands and hats. =) My mother is working on a quilt.
Even P has changed his mind about being allergic to baby girls. He loved that fact that she is the size of a banana or a cantelope. He decided that she was a baby fruit salad.
Here he is "talking" to her. He gave kisses and hugs too.
I love my family =)
