Exploring
Headed to the Farmer's market on Riva today with my momma. Gonna see what they have to offer. I hope it's good stuff. And I moved my planters yesterday. The back pourch only gets sun during the morning. The front sidewalk gets it mostly all day. I figure sun-loving plants would do better there. =) Oh and I have a plant growing!!! Unless it is a weed. Which would make me sad. Oh well. Happy Easter Weekend everyone.

C's parents were there just this morning! Such a fun time of year as things are blooming, getting warmer, growing! (Though, I would boast that our farmer's mkt was open ALL year :-P)
ReplyDeleteI did make butter, and it worked wonderfully! I have another pint of cream to try, and I was thinking about letting it sit out and sour a little before using it... I've heard that makes faster, better butter :-)

I have never heard of that. Do you know how long you are supposed to let it sit? I bought a French Butter Keeper from a local potter while at the market. My mom bought one too. I am hoping to use it for some fresh butter. Maybe today I'll make it. And I am jealous of your year round farmers market. I wish we had one here. Have a wonderful week!
