Friday marked the end to a rather long journey. R got hired for a new job at the beginning of February. For the past eight weeks he has driven 70 plus miles to the training academy for Montgomery County, known by me as MoCO. He would get up around 4am every day, pack his lunch and leave, making the drive with a fellow hire who lives even father away than we do. But Friday was Graduation Day. I was joined by R's parents and two of his close friends from QACo. We got to listen to the MoCO Pipes and Drums and a few speeches.
The recruits were sworn in and then received certificates for completing the academy. It was a very exciting day for everyone involved.
Congratulations!!
